The owners love the loft style, they wanted to preserve the industrial character of the space, add as much light as possible, leave as few walls as possible, leave emptiness and an attractive staircase.
Leaving the open plan of the day area, a wooden volume was placed in the center, in which a fireplace, a wardrobe and kitchen appliances are integrated. The kitchen is located on the sunny side with access to a spacious roof terrace. On a summer day, the glass doors can be left open, making the terrace an extension of the apartment. Additional holes were made in the concrete floor to achieve greater interaction between the upper and lower floors. From the bathroom you can now look down to the dining kitchen as well as Rotterdam.
