Each level of the architectural complex offers unobstructed views of the island’s volcanic bay, and rooms are plunged into a steep hillside. Sixteen rooms open onto private terraces with pools and sun loungers, separated by striking white walls. All rooms, along with the pools, restaurant, spa and gym, are connected via a central concrete staircase.
Six hotel rooms occupy original and refurbished structures, while all other spaces have been redesigned. The authors of the project tried to make it as close as possible to the pretty traditional streets and architectural forms of the area, but used new materials.
